Welcome
My name is Amanda Hubbert and I have been in childcare for 17 years. I live in Worthing, West Sussex. I am Ofsted registered.
I provide a warm, stable and friendly environment for all children, I am a member of NCMA and Magic Minders (Worthings Childminders Association)
In January 2010 I had my first Ofsted inspection resulting in being graded as GOOD.
I am also accredited, which means I am able to claim 15 hours a week of government funding, for 3-4 year olds.
I am committed to working closely with all parents/carers to ensure that principles of safeguarding children are met at all times, I am keen to involve parents with the activities.
During the day some of the following activities will take place:- cooking, painting, sticking, play dough, music and movement and free play. As i live only 400 metres from the beach i make frequent visits there with the children. I also make use of the play area in the local park, which is only a short walk away.Most days, after school i let the children run around the play area in the park. I also take the children to many of the activities that take place locally, especially during the school holidays.
I cover Heene first school and St Mary First and middle school plus Lady of Sion. I do both drop offs and pick ups from these schools.
I hold the following qualifications:-
CACHE level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare:
NVQ level 3 Early Years Care and Education:
Trained in child protection:
Pediatric first aid:
Food Hygiene.
Myself and my assistant both have had Enhanced CRB checks carried out.
In January 2012 i attended a two day course called, Including All Children, which dealt with giving care to children with special educational needs.
